Canadian client - PP Leno Mesh Bag

Client Profile

This client is one of Canada’s largest potato and vegetable growers, with a total cultivation area—including both company-owned and partner-managed land—exceeding 27,000 hectares. Its operations encompass the cultivation, storage, and cross-regional distribution of seed potatoes, table potatoes, and fall vegetables such as carrots and onions.

The autumn and winter storage and cold-chain distribution processes place significant demands on the load-bearing strength, breathability, and mold-resistant properties of mesh bags, as well as the ability to ensure a stable, large-scale supply.

Challenges Faced by Customers

1.When potatoes are stored long-term in cold storage, the standard woven bags previously used had poor breathability, and condensation inside the bags led to high rates of rot and spoilage;

2.During cross-regional transportation in winter, mesh bags fully loaded with 25 kg of goods occasionally tear during handling and stacking, which affects the brand’s delivery image;

3.Previously, some mesh bags were imported, resulting in high procurement costs and unstable delivery times, so a reliable domestic Chinese supplier was needed to replace them.

Solutions Provided

We custom-manufacture and supply yellow PP Leno mesh bags, measuring 45 × 75 cm, available in 10 kg and 25 kg capacities. The bags are made from high-strength PP material, feature a breathable structure that prevents condensation inside the bag, and are equipped with printed brand labels.
